This can save you time and reduce barriers to getting your child help. When I work with children in their homes we are able to use their favourite toys and activities to support engagement and make progress with their goals. I bring in relevant toys\/activities\/books to further push along development of skills.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One big benefit of providing speech therapy in your home is that those closest to your child can see and practice the strategies that will help your child reach their goals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The types of clients I find benefit the most from therapy at their home are those kids needing early intervention (before kindergarten) and nonverbal, or minimally verbal, children working on expressive language.
